Ranbir Kapoor is currently one of the most talked about actors in Hindi cinema. His film Sanju (2018), in which he essayed the role of Sanjay Dutt, crossed Rs200 crore nett in a week at the domestic box office. The actor is experiencing a professional high, and the rumour mills are abuzz with tales of him finding love again.

Kapoor, who broke up with actress Katrina Kaif a few years ago, is now romantically linked with his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt. Apart from attending public functions together, the duo have so far refrained from talking about their relationship. However, it hasn't stopped the media from speculating or asking them questions.

In an interview with Mayank Shekhar for Mid-Day.com's Sit with Hitlist, the actor tactfully answered questions on his personal life. Shekhar began by pointing out that Kapoor has never been single after he turned 13.

"See the thing is… love, relationship, companionship, and to find it repeatedly is very rare. When you isolate yourself so much, from the world, from people, you tend to find that one person, who you kind of devote to, or direct your feeling and emotion towards because it comforts you, it shelters you. In a way it makes your life easy. That one person sometimes comes in the form of frienship. In my life it has come in form of a partner,” Kapoor said.

Shekhar then asked Kapoor whether he is single. “I’ll never be single," the actor cheekily replied. Now came the million-dollar question - "Are you dating Alia Bhatt?"

However, Kapoor was in no mood to speak his heart out, and instead offered a very tart reply, “Main is sawaal ka jawaab dene ke liye raazi nahi hoon [I’m not ready to answer this question].”

Interestingly, the actor punned on the word 'Raazi'. The word loosely means 'ready' and was also the title of Bhatt’s last film.
