Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor reunited onscreen after 10 years with Remo D’Souza’s Race 3, the third film in the Race franchise. Though the film and its content was heavily criticised, both online and offline, after Race 3 was released, it seem to not have affected the equation both the actors share. The Dabangg (2010) recently hosted Kapoor on his television show Dus Ka Dum. Kapoor was there to promote his upcoming film Fanney Khan.
In an official statement, Khan said, “Anil Kapoor is one of the most generous actors I have ever worked with. He has grown as an actor and as a human being. Anil and I have been friends since the start of our careers and I have always looked up to him for his acting skills and his contribution to this industry.”
Khan believes that Kapoor will never be out of work. “He makes sure he is perfect on screen and also that the co- star is as comfortable as he/ she should be. He really respects the work he gets. Anil has decided till the time he keeps on working, it will be his best and I am sure such an actor will never be out of work,” he said.
Apart from Race 3, the two have worked together in Dil Tera Aashiq (1993), Biwi No. 1 (1999), No Entry (2005), Salaam-E-Ishq (2007) and Yuvvraaj (2008).
