Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat recently went on floors. Costume designer Ashley Rebello had earlier posted a picture of the film's lead actor Salman Khan on his Instagram page. While it was reported to be one of Khan's looks from the film, there was never any official confirmation.

The film is said to be spanning across seven decades, from 1947 to the new millennium, and Khan and lead actress, Priyanka Chopra, will be sporting five different looks as their characters age.

Zafar has now teased fans by posting a silhouette of the actor which looks like one of Khan's characters from the film.

"Ring of fire ..... & Bharat @BeingSalmanKhan . Eid 2019," Zafar wrote.

Along with Khan, one can also see another figure under his feet. The 'ring of fire' that Zafar wrote about comes across as a tunnel. Those familiar with Bigg Boss, the television reality show hosted by Khan, will be reminded of the image of the Bigg Boss' eye.

While we are free to draw conclusions, it cannot be ignored that Zafar has sucessfully generated intrigue around his upcoming film.

Bharat is an official remake of Korean film Ode To My Father (2014). The Korean film depicts modern Korean history from the 1950s to the present day through the life of an ordinary man, as he experiences events such as the Hungnam Evacuation of 1950 during the Korean War, the government's decision to dispatch nurses and miners to West Germany in the 1960s, and the Vietnam War.

Apart from Khan and Chopra, the film also stars Tabu, Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Jackie Shroff. Patani is reportedly playing a trapeze artist, while actor Grover is said to be playing friend to Khan's character. Shroff is likely to play the role of Khan's father in the film.

Khan and Zafar have earlier collaborated for hits like Sultan (2016) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017). Bharat is set to be released on 5 June 2019.
