Looks like director Karthick Naren's much awaited film, Naragasooran, will soon hit the screens.

The film, starring Aravind Swamy, Indrajith Sukumaran, Sundeep Kishan, Shriya Saran, and Aatmika in the lead roles, has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification without any cuts and has recieved a U/A certificate.

Karthick shared the news on Twitter.

It may be recalled that the film was in the eye of a storm after an intense war of words erupted between director Karthick and producer Gautham Menon over the delay in the film's production process. Reports claimed that Menon's Ondraga Entertainment had failed to pay the remuneration of Swamy and other lead actors on time.

Karthick had in March, put out a tweet, that read, "Sometimes a misplaced trust may kill you. People should think twice before taking it for a ride. The last thing you want to see is your passion getting butchered from all the directions for a mistake you did not commit. Threshold!"

Reports claimed that Menon's Ondraga Entertainment had failed to pay the remuneration of Swamy and other lead actors on time.Gautham hit back with a tweet of his own, writing, "While some young filmmakers whine about their passion getting butchered instead of growing a pair, here’s a young team that makes an interesting short about girls, women, cricket, CSK and liberation. What a http://connect.So very nicely done!"

Gautham's retort was criticised by many, including actor Arvind Swamy, and Karthick himself was in no mood to let it pass.

He responded with a stronger tweet. "While everybody advised against it I had the pair to trust you & collaborate sir. In return we were treated like trash & made to invest on our own. I think its better to whine & confront instead of running away. Please don't do this to any other young filmmaker sir. It hurts!" he wrote.

Gautham then made amends by apologising to Karthick in a long post that gave details of what had happened. After this, both sides remained silent.

Reportedly, the film's trailer and its release date will be announced soon.

Interestingly, the new posters of the film do not carry Gautham Menon's name as the producer, nor do they have the logo of his production house, Ondraga Entertainment.
