T-series to co-produce film on Batla House encounter with John Abraham and Nikkhil Advani

Nikkhil Advani is set to return to direction with a film based on the Batla House encounter case. The director has got a major boost after T-Series decided to co-produce the film alongwith Advani’s Emmay Entertainment, John Abraham’s JA Entertainment, and the young production house Bake My Cake Films.
T-Series made the announcement on Twitter.

The film will be jointly produced by @TSeries, @EmmayEntertain & @johnabrahament in association with @bakemycakefilms.

Yet to be titled, the film will go on the floors in September.
Advani returns to direction after three years. His last directorial was Katti Batti (2015). Advani had directed John in Salaam-e-Ishq (2007). The actor will soon be seen in Emmay Entertainment’s Satyameva Jayate.
The Operation Batla House took place on 19 September 2008 when two alleged Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists, Atif Amin and Mohamed, were gunned down in the Batla House locality in Jamia Nagar, Delhi.
The operation was led by DCP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav. John will play the role of Delhi police inspector Mohan Chand Sharma who was killed in the incident.
