Ranveer Singh's dedication to the method acting craft might sound impressive, but it has set him apart as an actor to watch out for. Even with the confusion around the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati, starring himself, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor, Singh has already got down to his next — Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy.
The actor's latest Twitter picture establishes that he is getting together with some serious rappers to gain the right 'street cred'.
Singh posted a picture with rappers Nitin Mishra aka Spitsfire, Vivian Divine and Kunal Pandagle aka Kaam Bhaari. The actor was dressed in jeans and t-shirt with a jacket and a fedora hat.
Apart from these, the film will also see Chaitanya Sharma aka Slow Cheetah and Abhay Prasad aka The Devil Rhymer collaborate for songs. The rappers and Singh recently shot for a song in a parking lot, and the actor certainly seems to have enjoyed it.
Singh is reportedly playing a character inspired from the life of street rapper, Naezy.
The actor started prep in March, and has even shown off his own rapping skills in a few videos last year.
Gully Boy is expected to be released later in 2018.
