The release of Pad Man, starring Akshay Kumar as the unique 'superhero', has been moved up a day from its initial Republic Day and will now hit the screens on 25 January.

The online marketing for the film is in full swing and the film's producers, KriArj Entertainment, shared a funny behind-the-scenes video of the film's stars discussing their rapport and other non-sequitur conversations.

Titled 'Pad Man Backseat Confessions Act III', the latest video has Akshay Kumar sandwiched between the film's two actresses, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and director R Balki pull Apte's leg for the number of awards she has won.

Akshay Kumar points out why everyone thinks Apte has won innumerable trophies — it is because she has a face like a "National award face".

When Apte retorts that Akshay Kumar's face falls in the same category, the star counters that he was given an award 26 years after he joined the industry.

The "Pad Man Backseat Confessions Act I", released on 2 January, had Akshay Kumar complaining about having to spend 45 minutes to get the two actresses together for the video.

He hilariously tells the camera that "we all three are: P, P, P — Paris, Punjab, Pune." He further picks on Kapoor for her Parisian wardrode. Kapoor walked the ramp for Ralph & Russo's fall/winter haute couture collection at the Paris Fashion Week in July 2017.

In "Pad Man Backseat Confessions Act II", released the same day, Akshay Kumar and Radhika Apte, who play husband and wife in Pad Man, speak in Marathi about his career. Apte says she has seen many of Akshay Kumar's films, but when asked to name them, she can come up with only one title, Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994).

When he asks her to name more films with 'Khiladi' in the title, she laughs as she can only remember one other title, Mr and Mrs Khiladi (1997) with Juhi Chawla.
