Tiger Zinda Hai (2015) has long surpassed Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) to emerge as Salman Khan’s highest earning film in India. The action thriller is now all set to beat Aamir Khan's PK (2014) for the second spot in the highest India business. The first spot is held by Aamir's Dangal (2016) that earned Rs374.53 crore nett in India business.

Tiger Zinda Hai made Rs1.65 crore nett in its sixth weekend collections, taking it’s India collection to Rs337.14 crore nett, as reported by BoxOfficeIndia.com,

The film, starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, is currently short of just Rs58 lakh to cross Aamir's PK, which made Rs337.72 crore nett in its India business.

Tiger Zinda Hai released on 23 December in India across a 4,600 screens. Invariably, the screen count dipped over the next five weeks. However, despite Padmaavat going great guns, Tiger Zinda Hai has been earning decent numbers. The film bagged Rs65 lakhs nett on Friday (26 January), and made Rs45 lakh nett and Rs55 lakh nett on Saturday (27 January) and Sunday (28 January), respectively.

Even if it gets modest returns during the week, the film looks good to beat PK for the second spot. It must be noted that PK had released across 3,600 screens in India.
