The release of Vikas Bahl’s Super 30 is almost a year away (25 January 2019). But the makers have already released the first look of the film, featuring the lead actor — Hrithik Roshan.

The film is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar.

Kumar helps students, who cannot afford private tuitions, to crack the entrance examination for IIT-JEE. As for their looks, Kumar and Hrithik are poles apart. However, going by the first look, it seems the makers have tried their best to make the actor look the part.

Hrithik is seen in a candid, rugged and unshaven look, wearing an ordinary shirt.

Phantom Films shared the picture on their official Twitter handle, writing, “From the first page in Benares! @ihrithik as Anand Kumar! #Super30 @Super30Film @RelianceEnt @NGEMovies @anandteacher.”

Kumar used to visit Benares every weekend to lay his hands on the foreign journals from the Benares Hindu University (BHU) for the benefit of his students. According to the tweet, it seems Hrithik is shooting this part currently.

Along with Phantom Films, the film is also produced by Reliance Entertainment and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

Hrithik’s last film Kaabil also hit the theatres on 25 January in 2017.
