On a promotional spree for her upcoming film Hichki, Rani Mukerji reached the sets of popular the Bengali television reality show Dadagiri Unlimited, hosted by former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly.

Besides participating in the quiz, conducted by Ganguly, fondly called Dada, the actress will also share a few anecdotes from her career.

She will also been seen asking Ganguly of the 'hiccups' he faced during his cricketing career on the show. With the aim to build an audience for the film in Kolkata, the actress has also undertaken a campaign for spreading stories of struggle of some of the most iconic figures in the field of entertainment.

The special episode was shot in Kolkata on 25 January, and will be aired tomorrow (4 February) on Zee Bangla at 9pm.

Mukerji had also appeared in the Salman Khan-hosted Big Boss 11 to promote the film.

Hichki is based on Brad Cohen's 2005 book titled Front of the Class: How Tourette Syndrome Made Me the Teacher I Never Had. The film talks about the hiccups — a metaphor of barriers and hurdles — of life and the struggle to overcome them, with a critique on the prevalent education system in the country.

Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, Hichki is set to be released on 23 March 2018.
