Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau has been setting his own sense of style during his stay in India. The premier was spotted wearing ethnic kurtas and pyjamas on his recent visit to the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad. Despite the visit being a diplomatic one, it was inevitable that his tryst with the city of Mumbai be completed with a cinematic interaction with Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and several other stars.

Trudeau was accompanied by his wife, Sophie, and children, Ella Grace Margaret, Hadrien, and Xavier Trudeau. The family certainly seemed charmed by the industry royals. Shah Rukh, in particular, spent quite a few minutes talking to the children.

While the event also saw several promnent names like Anupam Kher, Farhan Akhtar make an appearance, it was Aamir's rare presence that made it something of a special event. The actor, notorious for not attending public events, made an exception to welcome Trudeau and family to the city. The family has become akin to a major celebrity, with Trudeau being one of the more popular global leaders in the world.

The event focused on the theme of building industrial relationships between India and Canada, and extending a hand to the film industry to choose Canada as a profitable destination. Despite the serious nature of the discussion, the film industry was out in full force to welcome the visiting celebrities. From Akhtar to R Madhavan, several prominent names took the opportunity to take selfies with Trudeau.
