One of the perils of stardom in India is that the celebrity cannot roam around in public spaces freely. Stepping out in public at night could turn into a nightmare, and to venture out during the day, without the bodyguards, means they need to first ensure their faces are covered.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor tried his luck before he left for Bulgaria. He managed to roam the streets of Bhendi Bazaar in Mumbai unnoticed on a two-wheeler. You ask how? He covered his mouth and nose with a mask, head with a black cap and completed the camouflage with a black rimmed spectacles.

Actor-dialogue writer Hussain Dalal rode around Mumbai with Kapoor as a recce exercise for Brahmastra.

“Saved the best for the end.. Ranbir and I sneaking around on a bike in the streets of bhendi bazaar,’ Dalal wrote on his Instagram page while sharing a picture.

While the cap, spectacles and the mask made it impossible for anyone to recognise Kapoor, the lack of bodyguards sent out no alarms of his arrival.
The recce only shows the actor's dedication to his work.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra will be a three-film series, first of which will hit the theatres on Indpendence Day 2019.
