First it was Rajkummar Rao, then Ranveer Singh and now Amitabh Bachchan has sent a note appreciating Soha Ali Khan for her book, The Perils of Being Moderately Famous. An elated Khan couldn't contain her excitement, as she shared Bachchan's note dated 9 January, on Twitter.

"The term 'spine and spunk come to mind on picking your book, 'the perils of being moderately famous. It doesn't matter, how much polite self deprecating fluff you have on the outside. Even though, on the surface you are sort of reticent, and shying away from the spotlight, your genuine and funny sense of humour has been skillfully portrayed confirming that you possess a steely something in the middle that says, 'You know what I’m actually really good at this, and this is what I can do, and now I’ve done it' (sic), Bachchan wrote in the note in appreciation of her sense of humour.

Soha thanked the veteran actor for his words of encouragement and taking time out to read her book. The Bachchans are close the Khans, with Amitabh having worked with Soha’s brother Saif Ali Khan in a few films.
