After producing films like Halal (2017) and Lathe Joshi (2018), Amol Kagne Films’s next is titled Perfume. Directed by Karan Tandale, it features Monalisa Bagal and Omkar Dixit in lead roles. The film's tagline reads — 'It’s an unusual love story'.

The first poster of the film is out and it manages to build a curiosity around the film. It features the two artistes who are posed as lovers. However, the twist is that Bagal holds a gun which is pointed at Dixit’s forehead.

Along with a love story, it seems the film also deals with crime. The palace and mountains in the background give a feeling that the film might have been shot on a big scale.

While this is Dixit's debut film, Bagal has starred in a handful of films earlier. Two of these – Sobat and Dry Day – released this year.

Tandale is making his directorial debut with Perfume. He has previously worked as a cinematographer on films like Zari (2016) and the upcoming feature Sal. He has handled the camera for Perfume too.

The film is all set to be released on 1 March 2019.
