The actress is reportedly adjusting her schedule, so she can be a part of the project.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh is said to join the actor Nandamuri Balakrishna and actress Vidya Balan on the NTR biopic, directed by Krish. Singh would play the late actress Sridevi who worked with NTR in nearly 15 films like Vetagadu (1979) and Bobbili Puli (1982).
Actresses Shraddha Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha were also considered for the role, however, it seems that Singh is the makers’ choice for the film. According to a report in Mid-day, there has been no official announcement yet, as the makers are waiting for Singh to adjust her dates to accommodate the film.
Vidya plays NTR's first wife Basavatarakam; the couple had 12 children, eight sons and four daughters. Actor Rana Daggubati is also part of the film, playing Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Other artistes like Keerthy Suresh, Mahesh Babu, Jisshu Sengupta, Prakash Raj and Ravi Kishen have also taken on small roles in the projects as Savitri, Krishna, LV Prasad, Nagi Reddy and Raveekant Nagaich respectfully.
Singh’s role in the film will be short, and she will be present in the biopic for a few scenes and possibly a song.
