Alia Bhatt shows up at her domestic help's wedding, gets praised

A star she may be, but Alia Bhatt retains her humility and human touch. The Raazi (2018) actress showed up recently at the wedding of her domestic help.

A picture of Bhatt with the couple went viral online. The picture was posted by one Instant Bollywood on Instagram. 

Bhatt was dressed in simple attire and posed with the happy couple, with an arm around the bride.

As soon as the picture made its way online, a host of Bhatt fans started praising her humility.

Bhatt has always come across as a grounded, level-headed person, often keeping calm in the face of trenchant criticism. She is a perennial target of the internet trolls, but Bhatt has often brushed off such criticism and been sporting enough to take a few jokes at her expense. 

The calm demeanour was on show at the 48th International Film Festival of India in Goa last November. Some die-hard fans asked all kinds of questions, with one even asking Bhatt for her mobile number. While she did not do that, Bhatt listened to every question from her fans patiently.

The actress will be seen next in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, which is due for release on Valentine’s Day next year.
