There is no stopping Baaghi 2. After a grand opening weekend, the Ahmed Khan directorial has continued its good run and bagged a total of Rs111.75 crore nett in its first week, as reported by boxofficeindia.com.
The film is now has the second highest first week collection in 2018 after Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat that made Rs143.75 crore nett. On Thrusday (5 April), the film earned Rs7.75 crore nett.
Made at an estimated budget of Rs60 crores, the Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani-starrer was released across 3,500 screens in India. It is a first Rs100 crore film for both Shroff and seasoned actor Manoj Bajpayee.
Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji’s Hichki made Rs12.25 crore in its second week, taking its grand total to Rs38.36 crore nett in India.
Hichki is made at an estimated budget of Rs20 crore and was released across 961 screens domestically. The film is produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films. According to sources, the film has made its profit earning Rs15 crore from satellite right and Rs5 crore from digital rights.
The earnings of Ajay Devgn’s Raid dropped in its third week. It earned Rs8.75 crore nett in the period, and its India business now stands at Rs93.78 crore nett. The film is made at an estimated budget of Rs70 crore.
