Baaghi 2 becomes first Tiger Shroff film to collect Rs100 crore


The action drama bagged Rs8.75 crore nett on Wednesday, taking its total to Rs104 crore nett so far.

Actor Tiger Shroff's last two films bombed at the box office, but he has not only roared back to form, but also arrived with his first Rs100 crore film in Baaghi 2. The action drama made an impressive Rs8.75 crore nett on Wednesday (4 April), thereby helping the film cross the Rs100-crore mark. Baaghi 2 has so far made Rs104 crore nett in its India business, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.

Made at an approximate budget of Rs60 crore, Baaghi 2 was released across 2,750 screens in India. The earlier Baaghi (2016) film had collected Rs76 crore nett in India. Baaghi was made at an estimated budget of Rs37 crore.

Baaghi 2 has the second highest opening week collection, behind Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat which made Rs143 crore nett in its first week.

Save for Irrfan Khan’s Blackmail, there is no other big release this Friday. Baaghi 2 can hope to continue its good run over the weekend too.
