Music director Yuvan Shankar Raja's Audi stolen


In a police complaint, Yuvan's friend has mentioned that the music director suspects his driver, Nawaz Khan, of stealing his vehicle.

One of the South Indian film industry's top music directors, Yuvan Shankar Raja, has lodged a police complaint, stating that his Audi car has been stolen.

The musician, who is the son of music director Ilaiyaraaja and who embraced Islam in 2014, is believed to have filed the complaint through a close friend on Tuesday.

Police sources say that the friend filed the complaint on behalf of Yuvan at the Egmore police station in Chennai.

In the complaint, Yuvan's friend has mentioned that the music director suspects his driver, Nawaz Khan, of stealing his vehicle.

The police has registered a complaint and is investigating the matter.

Yuvan is busy with scoring the music of atleast two dozen films, most of which are those of big stars.

Some of the films that he is scoring the music for and that are awaiting release include Vishal's Irumbu Thirai and Sandakozhi2, Suriya's NGK, Dhanush's Maari 2, director Ameer's Santhana Devan, Thiagarajan Kumararaja's Super Deluxe and Chakri Toleti's Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, which will feature Nayanthara in the lead.
