Season 3 of Priyanka Chopra's American television show, Quantico, is all set to premiere on 26 April in the US and India, and the makers have just released the poster.

Posting the picture on her social media account, Chopra has asked the viewers to get ready for an "all new team, threats and tricks".

The poster shows Chopra's character, Alex Parrish, getting ready to take aim with her gun, while herself being a target.

Chopra, who is currently shooting the last portions of the show, wrote: "All new... team, threats & tricks on @ABCQuantico. It’s a season full of thrills and surprises... on your screens Thursday, April 26 on ABC! #Quantico."

While season 1 and 2 regulars Aunjanue Ellis and Jasmine Al Massri won't be seen in the new season, Jake McLaughlin, Blair Underwood and Johanna Braddy will continue to feature in season 3 alongside Chopra. Actors Alan Powell and Marlee Matlin will be the new additions to the core cast.

The new showrunner of the series, Michael Seitzman, who has taken over reins from Josh Safran (the showrunner of season 1 and 2), has said in an interview to tvguide.com that the new season of the action-drama will be a "reboot". The show will also continue to not have the dual timeline structure, which ended during the second half of season 2.

"I'm excited for fans to see the change in tone of the show. We changed the tone dramatically. I think we've made a very stylish show, and I think we've made a show that looks forward. I mean, I'm a fan of the show prior to this year, so this should be taken in that context. I think the show evolved," said Seitzman, who is also the showrunner on CBS' medical drama, Code Black.

Seitzman revealed that season 3 begins with Chopra's character, Alex, living in Italy three years after she and Ryan fled the US at the end of season 2. But now Alex is not with Ryan. She will be seen living with somebody else in the small town of Montepulciano, Italy where she works in a vineyard and comes home to him and his daughter Isabella in the evening.

Then somebody bad finds her, and it bring her back into the world she had left behind.
