Tiger Shroff thanks 'godfather' Sajid Nadiadwala for Baaghi 2

Baaghi 2 has had a phenomenal opening weekend bagging over Rs73 crore nett at the Indian box office alone. The lead artistes of the film, Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani, were short of words while thanking fans for the success. The duo posted a video on their respective Twitter handles thanking fans for warming up to Baaghi 2 in a big way.

“I want to thank you all for all the love and support, you have given me and from the whole team of Baaghi. Thank you so much, I can't thank you enough. It feels like I’m still dreaming. This was something that I could never even dream of even in my wildest dreams, or even dare to dream of. I’m sort of speechless right now,” Shroff said in the video.

Later in a statement, Shroff thanked his mentor and producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

"I want to thank Sajid Nadiadwala sir, my Godfather and father in the industry, who has given me a sort of rebirth in the industry. I'm very very thankful for him [sic]." the statement quoted Shroff.

I don’t want this dream to end,” Patani said in the video.
