Actress Rasika Dugal, known for films like Aurangzeb (2013), Qissa: The Tale Of A Lonely Ghost (2015), and Tu Hai Mera Sunday (2017), is set to jump into the big pool with Nandita Das's Manto.

She made her debut exactly 10 years ago and is now reaping the benefits of her work on television, digital platform and films.

Manto is one of the only two Hindi films this year to be selected for Cannes and will be screened in the prestigious Uncertain Regard category.

Speaking about the occasion, Dugal said, “It has been ten years since I started acting professionally. It has been a crazy journey, with so many ups and downs and myriad experiences. And I couldn't have thought of a better way to celebrate ten years of being in this profession than with having my film as an official entry at the Cannes Film Festival and that too in a prestigious section - Un Certain Regard.

"For actors like me, appreciation for our work is most valuable. It is what we thrive on. This selection is such an honor and an incentive to push myself further to learn more and raise the standards of performance.”
