Salman Khan reached the picturesque Sonamarg hill station in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday (23 April) for a two-day shooting schedule of Remo D'Souza directed movie Race 3.

The action packed thriller is being produced jointly by Ramesh S Taurani and Khan.

Besides Khan, Race 3 will also feature Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem.

The film is scheduled to be released coinciding with the Eid festival on 15 June.

Khan is likely to shoot for the movie in Ladakh region after completing the schedule in Sonamarg.

Sonamarg is hosting Khan for a second time. He spent over a fortnight in Sonamarg last time shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), directed by Kabir Khan.

The place has been one of the most favourite shooting locales for Hindi cinema.

Raj Kapoor's Ram Teri Ganga Meli (1985) and Yash Chopra's Silsila (1981) are some of the better known Hindi films shot in Sonamarg.
