Though the collections of the film starring Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar have slowed down, it has still got far more than its India box office.

After a bright start, where it earned $23.84 million (Rs155.49 crore) in the first week, Hindi Medium (2017) has slowed down at the China box office.
After running for 17 days, the film has so far grossed $31.43 million (Rs208.20 crore at the current exchange rate) in China, as reported by the portal entgroup.cn.
The drop in collections was expected as the film now has only about 7,000 screens in the country. Hindi Medium is currently at seventh spot for the year in China.
The Irrfan Khan-starrer's China business, however, is way ahead of its India collections. The film, which co-starred Pakistani actress Saba Qamar, made over Rs90 crore nett at the India box office.
Hindi Medium was made at a modest budget of Rs23 crore. It was named the Best Film at the Filmfare awards.
