Pink (2016) co-stars Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu are set to team up once again for Sujoy Ghosh's next film. Reports suggest that the two artistes will be part of Ghosh's upcoming thriller, tentatively titled Badla and produced by Sunir Kheterpal's Azure Entertainment.

The Kahaani (2012) director is reportedly scripting a thriller-based revenge drama.

Both, Bachchan and Pannu, earned rave reviews for their performances in the Shoojit Sircar produced Pink.

Mumbai Mirror, a tabloid, quoted a source close to the development saying, "The film produced by Sunir Kheterpal is tentatively titled Badla. A crime thriller, it is expected to roll in mid-June. Mr Bachchan has liked the script but is yet to sign on the dotted line but Taapsee has already committed to the project. The makers have already started work on the prep."

Ghosh earlier teamed up with Bachchan for two films: fantasy film Aladin (2009) which also starred Jacqueline Fernandez and Riteish Deshmukh, and Te3n (2016), which starred Bachchan with Nawazuddin Siddqiui and Vidya Balan.

Ghosh's film is expected to go on floors in June. Currently, Bachchan is awaiting the release of Umesh Shukla's 102 Not Out, while Taapsee Pannu is shooting for Anurag Kashyap's Manmarziyaan.
