Govinda had a harrowing time getting his film Aagaya Hero (2017) released last year. After release, the film proved to be an unmitigated disaster at the box office.
Aagaya Hero review: Govinda makes his B-grade film debut
The actor is now set to return with a comedy drama titled FryDay, directed by Abhishek Dogra. The makers unveiled a new poster and announced that the film will be released on 25 May.
What immediately catches your attention is Govinda's look. The 54-year-old looks much younger and leaner.
Govinda’s character is holding a water purifier in his hands, with the pipe wrapped around him. Actor Varun Sharma, of Fukrey Returns (2017) fame, can in seen in the purifier. The film's tagline reads, 'Jhooth Becho', meaning 'sell lies'.
While we can't quite figure out who is selling and who is buying the lies, we sure hope this is not another dud from the senior actor.
