The film will also feature Vijay Raaz, Sanya Malhotra and debutant Radhika Madan.
Sunil Grover gets his big break as lead in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Chhuriyaan

Comedian-actor Sunil Grover has landed a big break in Hindi cinema. The actor will be playing one of the main leads in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Chhuriyaan, along with senior actor Vijay Raaz. Grover has been acting in films since 1998 and this is the first time he will play a key character.
While sharing the news, Bhardwaj told Mumbai Mirror tabloid, “I am very happy to have Sunil Grover and Vijay Raaz as the two unconventional male leads of my film. Sunil plays a crucial and major part and I was surprised to know what a big star he is.”
Grover is popular for his television stint on Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show. His last movie was Coffee With D, where he played Arnab, a character modelled on the news debate host Arnab Goswami.
Chhuriyaan will see Dangal actress Sanya Malhotra and debutant Radhika Madan, a television actress. “The film is divided into two parts — the girls before their marriage and how their lives change after they tie the knot,” added Bhardwaj while speaking about the film.
He also shared why he is averse to working with stars. “Usually, actors give directors a commitment, but when push comes to shove they get cold feet. But that doesn’t happen with newcomers who are ready for anything. I am looking forward to directing Sanya and Radhika because I can mould them according to my will, change their look and create something fresh,” he added.
