Over the years, the 53-year-old actor has been involved in a lot of social causes. He was asked if he would like to enter politics to bring about a change in the society. Khan, however, replied in the negative, explaining that he has a better chance of bringing change as an artist.

“I am not cut out for politics. If the goal of politics is to contribute to nation building and shape society for the better, I am better placed to do it as a creative artist,” he said.

Khan will be next seen in Thugs Of Hindostan, also starring Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif. The film is due to be released during Diwali this year.
