Kapoor has a unique record of starring in two biopics in such quick successions. Interestingly, the two personalities she portrays in both films are as different as chalk and cheese – one a badminton player and the other from Mumbai’s murky underworld.

The Nehwal biopic, which is yet untitled, comes after Mary Kom (2014) and M S Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), both of which are based on sportspersons This year also saw the release of Sachin Tendulkar’s documentary titled Sachin: A Billion Dreams.
