Indu Sarkar review: A stuttering voice, but one that needs to be heard

In July, Indu Sarkar drew a lot of controversy for the characterization of former prime minister Indira Gandhi and her son Sanjay. The Examining Committee of the Central Board of Film Certification had initially suggested 12 cuts and two disclaimers, including removal of words like RSS and Akali from the film. Even after its release, protests by Congress activists forced cancellation of shows in many theatres.
