The Mastizaade (2016) actress revealed that once, at an awards do, only Chunky Pandey agreed to share the stage with her.
#NoFilterNeha: When most actors refused to share stage with Sunny Leone

Sunny Leone was the latest celebrity to appear on Neha Dhupia’s audio chat show #NoFilterNeha. There weren’t too many revelations from her on the show, given that there is not much left to reveal about her, but the former porn actress did open up about an incident when no one wanted to be on the stage as her.
The incident happened at an awards function early on in her career in the Hindi film industry. Leone did not mention which awards function it was, but she did admit to feeling unwanted.
"They [the organisers] wanted me on stage," said Leone, suggesting that it was to give away some award. It is a common enough sight to have two artistes presenting awards. However, despite the organisers requesting popular actors to join Leone on stage, most of them refused.
“Nobody wanted to be with me on the stage," she recalled. "The only one who agreed was Chunky Pandey."
Asked why that happened, Leone replied, “I was very new then. Maybe they thought it was kind of shady. They must have wondered where has this person come from. Probably a lot of people don’t like me. It was weird to sit there for a long time. They couldn’t find someone, and my husband was like no one wants to go on stage with you.”
Dhupia asked Leone if she has any friends in the film industry. “Probably not," she admitted. "I really don’t go out looking for friends. I don’t go to bars, nor am I part of any social clubs. Where else would I meet people other than at work? Well, I can count Rannvijay [Singh] and [VJ] Andy as friends. Rannvijay is someone I can call any time."
There weren’t too many quizzes or games on the show, but Sunny Leone did provide some cheer. Dhupia asked her to name one person other than her who could have carried off each of the 'Baby Doll', 'Laila Main Laila' and 'Chaar Bottle Vodka' tracks.
“I think Alia Bhatt for 'Baby Doll'," Leone said. "I think she is really cute. I have met her just for a brief second."
Leone said she would keep 'Laila Main Laila' to herself. But she couldn’t think of a name for the 'Chaar Bottle Vodka' song. Then Dhupia gave her three options — Rishi Kapoor, Zayed Khan and Fardeen Khan. Leone picked Kapoor.
