Mahesh Babu, SS Rajamouli set for maiden collaboration

Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu has confirmed that he would be collaborating with Baahubali director SS Rajamouli for his next film. He made the announcement at a promotional event, reported New Indian Express.
Following the gigantic success of the Baahubali franchise, Rajamouli has become the most sought-after director, not just in Telugu cinema, but the entire Indian entertainment history.
For a while it was speculated that the Telugu director could collaborate with Mahesh Babu, one of the top actors in Telugu cinema.
The project will begin in late 2018 or 2019 as Mahesh Babu winds up his prior commitments.
Mahesh Babu is currently busy promoting Tamil film Spyder, directed by AR Murugadoss. He has signed up for Koratala Siva’s Telugu film Bharat Ane Nenu, that has Kiara Advani playing the female lead. There is also Vamsi Paidipally's Mahesh 25.
Meanwhile, Rajamouli is currently said to helming a project for producer DVV Danayya. There is no word on the cast so far.
The project with Mahesh Babu will be a maiden collaboration between the duo.
