The 'Thug' and 'Bajirao' came together for the first time.

Ranveer Singh has never worked with any of the Khans (Shah Rukh, Salman, Saif, Aamir). But he did get a chance to share screen space with none other than Aamir Khan recently. However, this was not for a film, but an awards show. But that didn’t dampen Singh's excitement, going by his over-enthusiastic expression. Aamir, not surprisingly, is seen giving his trademark gentlemanly smile.
The two of them had attended the GQ Men Of The Year Awards that took place in Mumbai last night. Singh shared the picture on his Instagram page. He captioned it, “'THUG' life #gqawards.” The actor was referring to Aamir’s keenly awaited film, Thugs Of Hindostan.
The film is all set to be released on 7 November. Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Yash Raj Films, the film will see the first time pairing of Aamir and the legend Amitabh Bachchan.
Singh, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of his much talked about Padmavati, which is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film sees Deepika Padukone in the titular role and also stars Shahid Kapoor.
But coming back to the event the two actors attended, isn’t it surprising to see Aamir attending an awards show? We wonder what could have been the reason.
