Actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have wrapped up the shoot of Yash Raj Films' keenly awaited Tiger Zinda Hai. The team was done after they completed their last schedule in Abu Dhabi. The shoot took place for over 60 days in countries like Austria, Morocco and Abu Dhabi. The team only needs to shoot a song sequence now.
Tiger Zinda Hai is the sequel to Kabir Khan’s superhit Ek Tha Tiger (2012). This one is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who had also directed the blockbuster Sultan (2016) starring Salman.
Talking about the experience, Zafar said in an official statement, “Shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai was gruelling, challenging and a whole lot of fun. We’ve shot across pristine, relatively unseen locations in Austria, Morocco and shot on a huge lot in Abu Dhabi along with other spots (sic).”
He is happy to have received a lot of assistance during the shoot. “Right from the infrastructure, to the support that the local military has given us, shooting here was smooth and a great collaborative experience. Tiger and Zoya’s second outing is going to be larger than life, and the shoot lives up to that,” he added.
Tiger Zinda Hai is said to have some elaborate action and stunt sequences. For this purpose, the makers have roped in Tom Struthers, the Hollywood action co-ordinator who has worked on Dark Knight (2008) and The Dark Knight Rises (2012).
The film is all set to be released on 22 December this year.
