With Newton already receiving a welcome buzz before its release, Drishyam Films has launched the trailer of their next production, Rukh. Directed by Atanu Mukherjee and starring Manoj Bajpayee, Kumud Mishra, Smita Tambe and Adarsh Gourav, the trailer offers a glimpse into a very complex, intriguing, and intense story.

The trailer begins with a sombre Divakar Mathur (Manoj Bajpayee) assuring his son that everything will be alright. But it doesn't seem to be. As Divakar's life is claimed by a freak road accident, it plunges his family, particularly his son (Adarsh Gourav) into a spiral of angst. As the son seeks to find the secret behind what he believes to be the murder of his father, it reveals more uncomfortable secrets that the family is not ready for.

Directed and written by Atanu Mukherjee, the trailer shows glimpses of a complex plot lead by Manoj Bajpayee. The dark trailer is also aided by the presence of a supporting cast led by Kumud Mishra. The fact that it is produced by Drishyam Films, a production that has gained credibility with its recent films like Masaan (2015), Aankhon Dekhi (2014) and the latest, Newton (2017), also helps the film.

Rukh is set to be released in theatres on 27 October.
