On a sweltering afternoon, Shahana Goswami and Barun Sobti walked into an air-conditioned office carrying their cool with them. Breezy with their answers and funny in their interaction, the two artistes sat down with Cinestaan.com to speak about their upcoming film, Tu Hai Mera Sunday.
Sobti said the strength of the film, about a group of people struggling to find a place to play their weekend game, lies in its relatability. "People related to it in their own ways," he said.
The film, which revolves around the group's search for a place to play football, also sees Goswami returning to the big screen. The actress, who was last seen in Rock On 2 (2016), said Tu Hai Mera Sunday "is a wonderful, slice-of-life film". Quite the athlete in her school days, Goswami regretted that she didn't get to play much football during the shooting. "I would have loved it," she said. "I used to love training for football games, waking up at 6 in the morning."
Tu Hai Mera Sunday is directed by Milind Dhaimade, and is set to be released on 6 October.
