Rajkummar Rao nervous about romancing ‘world’s beautiful woman’ Aishwarya

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Fanney Khan has an unusual casting of Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao. It’s not Anil but Rajkummar who is cast opposite Aishwarya in the film. While the Newton actor is excited to work with the ‘world’s most beautiful woman’, he is nervous too.
“I haven’t had the chance to shoot with her but had a (script) reading and a few workshop sessions with her. There is a love angle between us which I am looking forward to but I am nervous for it. I will have to romance the world’s most beautiful woman,” he said during the trailer launch of his upcoming film Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana.
Rajkummar is much younger than Aishwarya. In fact, in her last film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) too, she romanced a younger actor in the form of Ranbir Kapoor. Their pairing and chemistry were appreciated in the film directed by Karan Johar.
Rajkummar is riding high on two back-to-back successes this year in Bareilly Ki Barfi and Newton. The second one is also India’s official entry to the Oscars in the Best Foreign Language Film category. He was also hugely appreciated for his work in Vikramaditya Motwane’s Trapped, which also released this year.
