Anushka Sharma, who loves to stick to the early to bed and early to rise mantra, has been forced to sacrifice her night sleep, thanks to the crazy shooting schedule of Aanand L Rai's yet untitled film.

The actress has been shooting scenes with co-star Shah Rukh Khan, who is known to be a night person, bang in the middle of the night — from 2am to 3am.

A source from the sets says, “Anushka has been shooting from 2pm to 3am everyday. By the time she reaches home and hits the bed it’s at least 4.30 am. Anushka is a morning person. She starts her day early. Currently, she is hitting the bed almost around the same time she generally wakes up!”

While Khan plays a dwarf in the film, it is rumoured that Sharma will be seen playing a mentally challenged character. However, the director has refused to reveal any details of Sharma's character so far. Katrina Kaif too is a part of the film.

“For Anushka, it has been an intense but an amazing shooting experience. Her character is beautiful and it will touch everyone’s heart. It’s worth all the sleepless nights for her. She is loving the experience of shooting an Anand Rai film and that too with one of her favourite co-stars, Shah Rukh Khan," the source added.

Rai's film, which will be Khan and Sharma's fourth film together, is slated to be released on Christmas 2018.
