Actress Radhika Apte said that she has not written the Anurag Kashyap-directed short for the upcoming film Bombay Talkies 2.

When asked about it, the actress said: "I have not written the script and I don't know from where the article has come up. It has been written by Anurag and at this moment, I cannot talk much about it."

Apte was present at the Van Heusen GQ Fashion Nights 2017 in Mumbai on Saturday, 11 November, as the showstopper for designers Shantanu and Nikhil.

For the sequel of the 2013 Bombay Talkies anthology, director Anurag Kashyap also roped in actor Akash Thosar, of Sairat fame, play a key role in his short, reportedly titled ‘Love and Lust’.

Kashyap’s short, which will be around 30 minutes long, was filmed in and around Bandra, Mumbai over four days. Both Apte and Thosar play friends in the film.

The tabloid Mumbai Mirror reported that Apte “plays a character who deals with several complexities in a relationship”. It was earlier reported that in addition to acting in the short, Apte has also written the screenplay.
