Actress Kangana Ranaut's look as the Rani of Jhansi in her upcoming, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has been leaked on social media already. While a few pictures of the actress in costume had already been leaked last week, the latest pictures have the actress dressed in full regalia ascended on the throne of Jhansi.

The film, directed by Krish, is on its second shooting schedule in Jaipur. The latest pictures from the sets of the film have been moving around on social media, and capture some of the crucial elements of the actress's look as the legendary Rani Laxmibai.

While Ranaut's sombre face captures the regal look of the queen, it is her attire that stands out. Relatively simple, the actress is wearing a plain cream angarakha, with an embroidered shawl. The colour is brought out with the red scabbard of her sword, which also has a very elaborate hilt. The actress's turban does not hide the free flowing hair, which goes with the illustration released by the makers of the film before it went on the floors.

Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi follows the tale of Rani Laxmibai and her uprising against the British Empire. The film also stars Atul Kulkarni, Sonu Sood and Ankita Lokhande. The film is directed by Krish, whose last film was Gabbar Is Back (2015) with Akshay Kumar. The film is set to be released on 27 April 2018.
