'Bae, Baba Aur Bank Chor' song: Peppy, foot-tapping music saves this gibberish rap number

From using words like chroma, roma, Barcelona to Vasco Da Gama, Portuguesa Goa to urban pesticide, carburettor, corroborator, only Baba Sehgal can explain the thought process behind such lyrics.

The makers of Bank Chor have unveiled a new track 'Bae, Baba Aur Bank Chor', penned, composed and crooned by seasoned rap singer Baba Sehgal, who is also acting in the film.

Here, Bank Chor is Riteish Deshmukh, Baba is clearly Sehgal, but who is Bae? Does bae stand for urban slang 'before anyone else'? Truth be told, much of the lyrics are all over the place. Mere rhyming words is not enough to produce a good rap.

From using words like chroma, roma, Barcelona to Vasco Da Gama, Portuguesa Goa to urban pesticide, carburettor, corroborator, only Baba Sehgal can explain the thought process behind such lyrics. You need to be all ears to get each and every word of the song. Sehgal has earned a massive following on Twitter for his randomly rhyming tweets.

Despite the poor lyrics, the song rides on its peppy beats. The music gets you hooked, and lovers of hip hop music will probably find themselves tapping their feet.

Sehgal hogs much of the limelight in the video too. Deshmukh, his two accomplices and Rhea Chakraborty feature in the video doing funny actions.

Watch the song purely for its peppy music and groovy beats. Bank Chor is to be released on 16 June.
