Prabhudheva, Tamannaah to reunite in Vashu Bhagnani’s Khamoshi

Vashu Bhagnani’s next is the Hindi remake of director Chakri Toleti’s Tamil thriller Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, which stars Nayanthara. Although there have been countless south remakes in recent years, this is a rare occurrence that the Hindi remake being planned before the original releases.
The upcoming film is called Khamoshi and stars Prabhudheva and Tamannaah. The film is said to be focused around a deaf and mute female protagonist.
The Hindi version will also be helmed by Toleti. He is known for making Billa 2 (2012) and Unnaipol Oruvan (2009), which was the Tamil remake of Neeraj Pandey’s A Wednesday (2008). Khamoshi will be his Hindi film debut.
Khamoshi is India’s first film to be shot on 8k camera. Bhagnani announced the news on Twitter recently saying, “Proud to be producing India's first 8k film #Khamoshi *ing @PDdancing @tamannaahspeaks directed by @ChakriToleti.” The producer is in search of a hit since a long time.
Prabhudheva’s last feature film as an actor was the Tamil film Devi (2016) which was also released in Hindi as Tutak Tutak Tutiya (2016) and Telugu as Abhinetri (2016). That film also starred Tamannaah opposite him. Following this, she was seen playing a cameo in SS Rajamouli’s celebrated Baahubali 2: The Conclusion this year.
