Sachin Tendulkar’s enormous fan following is keenly waiting for his life story, Sachin – A Billion Dreams to hit the theatres on 26 May. Among the numerous crazy fans of the master blaster, is Priyanka Chopra.
The Quantico actress has shared a video to her Instagram page where she has showered good wishes to the man.
Chopra expressed how much the ex-cricketer meant to her. “Sachin Tendulkar, the name to me is associated with amazing memories of celebrations, jubilation, happiness,”
Like many others, Chopra too feels that nobody can replace the legendary batsman. “I don’t think in our lifetime we are going to see one individual that brings together an entire nation together the way he does. Sachin sir, you are India’s pride. I am extremely proud to have known you.”
She ended the video urging her fans to watch the movie. “Everyone go out there, watch Sachin – A Billion Dreams. Two days to go,” she signed off.
Interestingly, Chopra's important Hollywood debut, Baywatch is releasing tomorrow in the rest of the world. Its India release is scheduled for next week on 2 June. She took time out from her busy promotion schedule of the film.
Sachin – A Billion Dreams is directed by James Erskine and produced by Ravi Bhagchandka, 200 Not Out Productions and Carnival Motion Pictures. The film is also dubbed in Marathi, Tamil and Telugu.
