After Dharmendra, his sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, it is now the turn of his grandson, Karan, to face the cameras. The veteran actor will launch him under his banner, Vijayta Films and the film, Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, will be co-produced by Zee Studios.
Father Sunny is helming the project and turning director for the third time after Dillagi (1999) and Ghayal Once Again (2016). Sunny announced the project earlier this year, writing on Twitter that he was “not standing for any #Elections ... for now busy with my son #KaranDeol's launch film #PalPalDilKePaas”
Since then, he has been busy prepping for the film in Manali, where it is being shot.
And just today, the proud father announced Karan’s first day on the set of Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, saying, “Started #palpaldilkepaas .. Karan's first day at shoot.. can't get enough.. my boy has grown big #love #actor #life”
Karan’s uncle Bobby also sent his brother and nephew blessings for the shoot. He also wrote that he was “Overwhelmed!!” that his brother was becoming director yet again.
While Sunny directed his last film as recently as last year, Vijayta Films’ last production was in 2013 when Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby were all seen together in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, directed by Sangeeth Sivan.
