Veteran actress Reema Lagoo passed away today in Mumbai following a cardiac arrest. The actress complained of chest pain last night after which she was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Andheri, where she breathed her last. She was 59.
Lagoo has acted in more than 160 films in a career spanning more than 35 years. She is best known for her acts in films like Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! (1994), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999), Vaastav – The Reality (1999). Her work in comic serials like Tu Tu Main Main and Shreeman Shrimati is also memorable.
The news has come as a rude shock to film lovers across India. This is evident from the numerous posts on social media offering condolences to her.
