Actor Vivek Oberoi has shown support to the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) by donating 25 flats to the martyrs from Maharashtra who laid down their lives while safeguarding the nation. The actor has done this through his company, Karrm Infrastructure Pvt Ltd.

The company sent a letter on behalf of Vivek to the CRPF informing about their decision. The CRPF, obviously touched by the gesture, posted pictures of the letter on their official Twitter page. They captioned it, “CRPF xpress it's gratitude 2 @vivek_oberoi Karrm Infa Ltd 4 allotng 4 & resrvng 21 flats in thr housing project 4 Martyrs kin fm Maharashtra.”

The letter also mentions that four flats have already been given to families. The company has asked the details of 21 more families so that the flats can be allotted to them at the earliest.

The news has generated a lot of appreciation for Vivek on social media which is evident from various user posts.

Earlier in the year, Akshay Kumar donated Rs1.08 crore to the families of twelve CRPF jawans who lost their lives in the Naxal attacks in Chhattisgarh in March.
