Uncertainty around Govinda's film's release continues as trade experts say there's no buzz around the film.

Govinda has told Cinestaan.com that his film Aa Gaya Hero, which is struggling to find distributors, will release on "17th fix". The two-word reply came at 12.56 am today, after days of remaining unavailable for comment to confirm the film's release date.

However, the actor did not mention the month of release. Last reported, the release of Aa Gaya Hero was pushed to 16 March. However, then came the reports of Govinda struggling to find distributors for his film.

Will Govinda’s Aa Gaya Hero see the light of day?

A Mid-day (tabloid) report had quoted an anonymous exhibitor-distributor saying that there was no buzz about the film in the trade market. The report also mentioned how the actor was himself willing to pay the distributors to get his film released. Later, a trade analyst had told Cinestaan.com that the trade market was simply not interested in his film.

We sent the actor a text asking him to confirm the month of his film's release and also about the distributors of the film. There was no response at the time of writing this report.

Govinda is producing the film himself. If it is presumed that the actor was referring to 17 March as the release date, so far no print ads have been released indicating the same. Even popular ticket booking portal www.bookmyshow.com does not have Aa Gaya Hero in its 'upcoming releases' list. To add to Govinda's woes, Vikramaditya Motwane’s Trapped and Abbas-Mustan’s Machine are set for release on 17 March.

Aa Gaya Hero was first made as Abhinay Chakra with the actor then reshooting the film thrice. The film was initially set for a 16 February release, but got pushed a couple of times before it was said to be releasing on 16 March. There’s no denying that the actor is facing a challenge to get his film released. Perhaps, we need to wait and watch for an official word on Aa Gaya Hero’s release.
