The Vidyut Jammwal-starrer stands no chance in the second week as Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's Badrinath Ki Dulhania releases today.

Debutant director Deven Bhojani’s Commando 2 hasn’t had a great first week. The Vidyut Jammwal-starrer has earned Rs21 crore at the box office in India, as per figures shared by BoxOfficeIndia.com.
The film had earned Rs13.25 crore in the first weekend. As expected, the film didn't do too well in the week. The film is reportedly made at a budget of around Rs20 crore. So, it has only managed to break even.
As a big film like Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, released today, there is no hope for Commando 2 in the second week.
Along with the action thriller, films like Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai and Luv Shuv Pyar Vyar also hit the theatres. The collections in both the films are negligible.
Hollywood’s sci-fi movie Logan too released in India this week. The film managed a decent run by earning Rs24 crore in the country.
The Indian box office has been facing a lull recently. Even Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon met a disastrous fate. Hence, expectations from Badrinath Ki Dulhania are high.
