Yash Raj Films (YRF) is coming up with innovative ways to promote their next, Bank Chor.

In a first, the makers are going all out to ridicule their own film, even roasting the lead actor Riteish Deshmukh. After laughing at themselves, Bank Chor Deshmukh and YRF have now made controversial US President Donald Trump part of their promotions. Before your imagination takes flight, Deshmukh and YRF have created a video, 'Bakwaas with Bank Chor', spoofing the US President. The highlight of the video is Trump wondering why there is no Priyanka Chopra in Bank Chor.

Funnyman Cyrus Broacha has made a career out of spoofing political bigwigs in his television show, The Week That Wasn’t. Though not as good as Broacha, Deshmukh and the Bank Chor team has done a commendable job of making a spoof video with the US President.

The creative machinery has done well to drag Priyanka Chopra into the promotions with Trump asking Deshmukh why Piggy Chops (as Chopra is fondly called) is not in the film. During an election campaign event Trump had said that he admired the beautiful Indian heroines. It’s a different matter that he couldn’t name a single one.

Watch Deshmukh’s spoof video with Trump below:

Since Deshmukh and the Bank Chor team can’t afford Chopra's fees, they started a donation camp to fulfil US President Trump's wishes.

Chopra, too, saw the lighter side of things offering her best wishes to the Bank Chor.

The film is to be released on 16 June.
