Two of Salman Khan’s most likable performances – Khamoshi: The Musical (1996) and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) – came in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s films. Unfortunately, the duo reportedly had a fall out after their last film together, Saawariya (2007).

But since last year, there has been peace between the two after Bhansali reportedly met Salman at the latter’s residence. The meeting was said to be about a possible project together. And now, Khan himself has revealed that he has been discussing a script with the filmmaker lately.

During an interaction for his keenly awaited Tubelight, Salman said, “We’ve been discussing a script. If it does happen, it’ll happen only after I finish all the films that I’ve taken up.” He also added that he hasn’t read the script yet. “Sanjay will give me a narration once he finishes Padmavati,” he said.

Salman has quite a few films lined up after Tubelight. His Tiger Zinda Hai is currently in the making. This will be followed by a dance film with Remo D’Souza, Dabangg 3 and an untitled film with sister Alvira Khan Agnihotri.

The actor will also be starring in Sooraj Barjatya’s next, which was confirmed to us by Kamal Kumar Barjatya, CEO of Rajshri Productions.

So, it will be interesting to see when Khan will be free to work with Bhansali, if the film at all happens.
